Two days ago (December 10th) I went to my mailbox for the first time in quite a while...
---sidenote: okay it wasn't exactly the first time in a while because I went the night before, but couldn't remember my combo. So to be excruciatingly honest, three days ago was the first time in a long time---
..and left with a card. I love receiving parcels in the mail, as most do, but I generally only check my mailbox if I am expecting something from someone. To make a short story as short as it should be, the card was a Thanksgiving card from a few weeks ago and I felt bad for not responding. The funny part was in the card it said, "Christmas will come up faster than you know," and the writer didn't know how right on they were going to be!
